2017/2018 SCHEDULE: SEPTEMBER 6th, 2017 thru JUNE 19th, 2018

Classes offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Modern/Contemporary, Tap, Baton, Preschool Combination, Children's Combination and Boys' Classes.

Ages 3 1/2 through Adult, beginning through advanced.

‘Toddler Pre-Dance’ Classes for ages 2 and 3.

Students placed in class by age

(required age by August 31, 2017), experience and ability.

Monday thru Friday from Noon to 6:00 pm

Saturday from 10 am to 2:00 pm.

Fall classes begin Wednesday, September 6th.

Irene's School of Dance reserves the right to cancel or combine classes..

TUITION: Tuition is based on one - 1 hour class per week: $47.00/month A student taking multiple weekly classes receives a discount on each additional class.

Family discounts for two or more family members are also given.

ADDITIONAL FEES: ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE of $25.00 per student or $40.00 per family, due at time of registration and non-refundable.

PARENTS’ WATCH WEEK: Parents are invited to observe class the FIRST lesson of the month in October, November, February, March, and April.

VACATION AND SCHOOL CLOSURES: Classes will be held on teacher's workshop days and all other holidays, except Labor Day and Memorial Day. Classes will not be held during the school winter break.

PROGRAMS AND RECITALS: The students will dance in one of the informal Holiday programs, tentatively scheduled for December 15th and 16th, 2017, at Central Kitsap High School. There is no admission charge.

The Spring Recitals, "Dance Varieties” 2018, are scheduled for June 22nd through the 24th, 2018, at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center.

Some dance students are also eligible to audition for extra parts in DANCE ARTS THEATRE's 30th Annual "Nutcracker" to be presented Thanksgiving weekend. These auditions are scheduled for Sunday, October 1st, 2017.

DRESS CODE: Proper dance attire enables the student to participate fully in class and to maintain a disciplined attitude toward his/her studies.

Leotards, tights, ballet shoes, tap shoes, jazz boots, hip hop sneakers, jazz pants, batons and skirts can be purchased at the dance school.


DANCE ARTS THEATREis a performing dance company, open by audition only, for the serious more advanced ballet dancer, 10 years and older.
