"Dance for the Joy of It!"
TUITION: Tuition is based on One - 1 hour class per week: $41.00/month
A student taking multiple weekly classes receives a discount on each additional class.
Family discounts for two or more family members are also given.
ADDITIONAL FEES: ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE of $15.00 per student or $25.00 per family, due at time of registration and non-refundable.
CLASS OBSERVATION: Parents are invited to observe class the FIRST lesson of the month in October, November, February, March, and April.
VACATION AND SCHOOL CLOSURES: Classes will be held on teacher's workshop days and all other holidays, except Labor Day and Memorial Day. Classes will not be held during the school December winter break.
PROGRAMS AND RECITALS: The students will dance in one of the informal Holiday programs, tentatively scheduled for December 17th and 18th, 2010, at Central Kitsap High School. There is no admission charge.
The Spring Recitals, "Dance Varieties” 2011, are scheduled for June 17th through the 19th, 2011, at the Bremerton High School Performing Arts Center.
Some dance students are also eligible to audition for extra parts in DANCE ARTS THEATRE's "Nutcracker". These auditions are scheduled for Sunday, October 3rd, 2010
DRESS CODE: Proper dance attire enables the student to participate fully in class and to maintain a disciplined attitude toward his/her studies.
Leotards, tights, ballet shoes, tap shoes, taps, jazz boots, hip hop sneakers, jazz pants, batons and skirts can be purchased at the dance school.
DANCE ARTS THEATRE: DANCE ARTS THEATRE is a performing dance company, open by audition only, for the serious more advanced ballet dancer, 10 years and older. The “Nutcracker” will be presented Thanksgiving weekend and a spring ballet production March 26th and 27th, 2011.

2010/2011 SCHEDULE: SEPTEMBER 1st, 2010 TO JUNE 19th, 2011
Classes offered in Ballet, Pointe, Jazz/Lyrical, Hip-Hop, Modern/Contemporary, Tap, Baton, Zumba, Preschool Combination, Children's Combination and Boys' Classes.
Ages 3 1/2 through Adult, beginning through advanced.
Students placed in class by age (required age by August 31, 2010), experience and ability.
‘Toddler PreDance’ Classes for ages 2 and 3.
Irene's School of Dance reserves the right to cancel or combine classes
